De hecho, en muchos coches matriculados antes de 2009 tambi\u00e9n se les instalar\u00e1 un filtro.<\/p>\n<p>Y estas medidas se adoptan por una buena raz\u00f3n, ya que la emisiones de part\u00edculas di\u00e9sel (holl\u00edn) provocan graves problemas de salud para los seres humanos. Los filtros DPF reducen las emisiones de holl\u00edn di\u00e9sel en un 80\u00a0%, pero no son adecuados para todo el mundo. Incluso si su conducci\u00f3n no es principalmente urbana\/de parada-arranque, para que estos sistemas sigan funcionando correctamente, puede que sea necesario hacer cambios en el estilo de conducci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"text-title-block container text-left mt-100 mb-100\">\n  \n      <h2 class=\"h2\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo funcionan los filtros de part\u00edculas di\u00e9sel?<\/h2>\n  \n\n      <p><p>Los filtros de part\u00edculas di\u00e9sel (DPF) atrapan las part\u00edculas de holl\u00edn y evitan que salgan por el sistema de gases de escape. Como ocurre con cualquier otro filtro, deben vaciarse regularmente para mantener sus prestaciones. En el caso de un filtro DPF, este proceso se denomina \u00abregeneraci\u00f3n\u00bb. En este proceso, el holl\u00edn recogido se quema a alta temperatura y deja solo ceniza.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"text-title-block container text-left mt-100 mb-100\">\n  \n      <h2 class=\"h2\">La regeneraci\u00f3n puede ser pasiva o activa<\/h2>\n  \n\n      <p><p>La regeneraci\u00f3n pasiva se da autom\u00e1ticamente en la autopista cuando la temperatura de los gases de escape es alta. Puesto que muchos coches no se conducen en la autopista con frecuencia, los fabricantes de veh\u00edculos han dise\u00f1ado la regeneraci\u00f3n \u00abactiva\u00bb. En este proceso, el ordenador de gesti\u00f3n del motor (ECU, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), toma el control del proceso.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"text-title-block container text-left mt-100 mb-100\">\n  \n      <h2 class=\"h2\">Regeneraci\u00f3n activa<\/h2>\n  \n\n      <p><p>Cuando el filtro se llena de holl\u00edn hasta un l\u00edmite fijado (alrededor del 45\u00a0%), el ECU del veh\u00edculo pondr\u00e1 en marcha la inyecci\u00f3n de combustible poscombusti\u00f3n para aumentar la temperatura de los gases de escape y activar la regeneraci\u00f3n. Si se apaga el motor mientras la regeneraci\u00f3n est\u00e1 en marcha, puede que no se complete. Se encender\u00e1 un testigo de advertencia para indicar que el filtro est\u00e1 parcialmente bloqueado.<br \/>\nAs\u00ed, deber\u00eda poderse completar un ciclo de regeneraci\u00f3n y hacer desaparecer el testigo de advertencia conduciendo y aumentando la temperatura.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"text-title-block container text-left mt-100 mb-100\">\n  \n      <h2 class=\"h2\">S\u00edntomas de la regeneraci\u00f3n activa<\/h2>\n  \n\n      <p><p>Durante la regeneraci\u00f3n activa, puede que se encuentre con los siguientes s\u00edntomas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Los ventiladores de refrigeraci\u00f3n est\u00e1n en marcha<\/li>\n<li>Aumento de la velocidad de ralent\u00ed<\/li>\n<li>Desactivaci\u00f3n de la parada\/arranque autom\u00e1ticos<\/li>\n<li>Un ligero aumento del consumo de combustible<\/li>\n<li>Un olor caliente y agrio de los gases de escape<\/li>\n<li>Cambio en el tono del motor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Si la regeneraci\u00f3n fracasa debido a un ciclo de conducci\u00f3n insuficiente, el combustible adicional que se ha inyectado en los cilindros no se quemar\u00e1 y pasar\u00e1 al c\u00e1rter. Como resultado de ello, la calidad del aceite se deteriorar\u00e1 y aumentar\u00e1 el nivel de aceite. La mayor parte de los motores equipados con filtros DPF contar\u00e1n con un sensor de viscosidad\/calidad del aceite, pero es importante que verifique que el nivel de aceite no suba por encima del nivel m\u00e1ximo en la varilla, ya que los motores di\u00e9sel pueden funcionar con su propio aceite si el nivel es excesivo \u2013 con frecuencia hasta el punto de destruirse.<\/p>\n<p>Si ignora el testigo de advertencia del filtro de part\u00edculas di\u00e9sel y sigue conduciendo con un patr\u00f3n de parada\/arranque relativamente lento, se seguir\u00e1 acumulando holl\u00edn hasta el 75\u00a0% y entonces es probable que se enciendan m\u00e1s testigos de advertencia en el salpicadero. Llegados a este punto, conducir a una velocidad alta no bastar\u00e1 para limpiar el filtro y tendr\u00e1 que llevar el coche a un concesionario para \u00abforzar\u00bb la regeneraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"text-title-block container text-left mt-100 mb-100\">\n  \n      <h2 class=\"h2\">Regeneraci\u00f3n forzada<\/h2>\n  \n\n      <p><p>La regeneraci\u00f3n forzada es precisa cuando no se han dado los criterios de regeneraci\u00f3n \u00abactiva\u00bb y los niveles de holl\u00edn del filtro DPF han aumentado hasta aproximadamente el 70\u00a0%. Si se deja, la carga de holl\u00edn continuar\u00e1. En este nivel, se debe utilizar una herramienta diagn\u00f3stica para forzar la regeneraci\u00f3n.
