Other vehicles and areas of use
Our HT particle filters can be used for 101 different applications. They filter >99% of all exhaust particles and are the ideal solution when the average exhaust gas temperature is too low to use other particulate filter systems, such as ceramic particulate filters.
This switching locomotive is a good example of this. This is used to drive other railway equipment in and out of the workshop. Two HT35 filters were combined in parallel with a 3-way valve/bypass, allowing the filters to be turned off outdoors.
Our HT filters can also be used on terminal trucks, fire engines, self-propelled platform trucks, container lifts, emergency generators, snow trimmers, etc.
HT Filter – as a mobile plug-on filter
Normally our EHC P15 and EHC L20 are used to start and move diesels indoors, but in some cases the exhaust temperature is too high and/or the exhaust volume is too large for these quick fit filters.
In these circumstances, our HT filters offers you a flexible solution.
Normally they are permanently fitted to a machine or vehicle, but they can also be supplied as a portable ‘plug-on’ DPF. In the picture below, you see a solution that EHC has developed for the PZH2000 drive in and out of a workshop.

Our HT diesel particulate filters or DPF for diesel engines reduce exposure to carcinogenic and mutagenic exhaust particulates by >99%.
